Another lovely day at Jon Stow's Terrapin Station...always a special day. Things to consider...the space is limited! Jon is allowing camping but campers...mainly trailers...are discouraged. There just really is no place to put them. So sleep under the stars or bring a tent. If you know other people that are planning to attend, please travel together. Jon doesn't want people parking at the Clinton Market and you can't park on the road up to his place. It's a narrow road and parking could make it difficult or impossible for a fire truck to gain access to properties. Jon will be working the crowd and selling wristbands for $20. It's a special day, and we hope you can make it but once it's full...it's full. Jon will be posting signs once we've reached capacity. Jon's advice..."come early".

The Big Sky Arts Council will once again kick off Big Sky’s annual Haunted Peaks Halloween Festival with the Skull & Roses Ball, a costume-themed evening celebrating the music of the Grateful Dead. This year’s performance features 710 Ashbury, a Helena-based band dedicated to keeping the Dead’s spirit alive.

Missoula Dead Day will take place at Caras Park on Saturday, August 9th, 2025,from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This special event will honor the music and legacy of Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead. August 9th will mark exactly 30 years since Garcia’s passing, as well as 2025 representing the 60th anniversary of the formation of this iconic, culture-shifting band. The event will feature a variety of live performances, showcasing both Grateful Dead classics and original music in the spirit of the band. In addition to the music, attendees can enjoy alcohol catering, food trucks, and a Shakedown Street-inspired vendor area. The event will foster an atmosphere of camaraderie, nostalgia, and celebrating the joy of life and community. It is an all-ages, pet-friendly event designed to be inclusive and accessible to everyone.

I'm excited to announce the 4th Annual Jerry Garcia Birthday Bash, Friday, August 1st at 8pm at The Filling Station. Totally stoked to have 710 Ashbury with us this year along with sets by Roadrunner the Band , Dead Sky and Mike Beck & Kenny Williams. Last year was sooooo much fun and this year will be off the charts. With this years lineup, the Birthday Bash will surely sell out. I highly encourage you to grab your ticket in advance.
